Byron Davies MP recently introduced Rt Hon Charles Henry to discuss his report on Tidal Lagoon Power at a packed meeting of key stakeholders from the Swansea Bay area and far beyond. Byron spoke about his enthusiasm for the Tidal Lagoon project - the first in the world of its kind - and the benefits it can bring in terms of growth, jobs and tourism for residents in Gower.
Byron said:
" I am delighted to be able to represent constituent’s views on this issue. People in Gower and the wider region support the huge benefits to tourism, our energy supply and the wider economy by pressing ahead with this Tidal Lagoon. We, in Gower and South Wales, can be at the forefront of this world first technology, leading a path for other parts of the world with our pioneering approach to using tidal power."
Gower Conservatives are proud to back Byron Davies MP who is working tirelessly to put Gower and the wider Swansea Bay area on the world map.
