Byron Davies is the former MP for Gower, representing the constituency from 2015-2017. He is the first Conservative to represent Gower, having won the seat from Labour for the first time in 109 years.
Byron was elevated to the House of Lords by former Prime Minister Theresa May, becoming The Lord Davies of Gower and taking his seat on 17th October 2019.
Byron was born and raised locally, and is passionate about helping local people into work, regularly holding jobs fairs across our local community - linking local job seekers with local businesses looking for staff.
Byron said "I think it's really important to help local people get into work. More people in work means more people being able to provide for themselves and their families through the security and stability of a regular pay packet."
