Marc Jenkins, a former Olympic triathlete, Husband, Father has been selected to stand up for our community at the next General Election.
Marc was born in and continues to live here in South Wales.
Marc, who competed for Great Britain in the 2004 Athens Olympic games said "I'm not a traditional politician, I have not had a political focus until recently. I am standing as want to give "Normal" people a chance to vote for someone like them. Getting involved in politics to make a difference not for a career. I'm standing to be our MP because I want to make sure our community isn't ignored.
Marc added "We've seen all too often from the Labour Party here in Wales common sense and the wishes of the majority are ignored over things like blanket 20mph, more politicians in the Senedd. I want to be a loud, passionate voice for our community, in stark contrast with a complacent Labour Party."
I am committed to delivering practical solutions that reflect the aspirations and values of Gower. My approach to politics is rooted in a steadfast commitment to public service, integrity and accountability. I believe in a government that empowers individuals and families, supports our entrepreneurs and safeguards traditional industries while embracing innovation for future growth.
As Gower’s representative in Parliament, I would focus on:
- Strengthening the Economy: Promoting policies that attract investment, support small businesses, and create high-level jobs for Gower. I am also dedicated to cutting income taxes and public debt, leaving more money in your pocket and a better economy for our children.
- Healthcare: Ensuring NHS services receive the funding they need and tackling the labour-led bureaucracy, which is slowing down services and draining your money.
- Education and Opportunity: Investing in our schools and training programs to equip our young people with the skills necessary for a modern and evolving economy.
- Immigration: Advocating a fair, firm and common-sense immigration system that addresses the needs of our community and economy.
I am dedicated to listening to your concerns and working tirelessly to ensure Gower is a prosperous and secure place for everyone. Please reach out so I can best represent your views. Together, we can build back better.
